In attendance were members of staff of the Ministry of Environment, artists, art professionsals, officers of the National Cultural Foundation (NCF), stakeholders, members of the Working Group on Biodiversity, the newly appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Conservation Commission (NCC), Mr. Ryan Brathwaite M.P., Senator Mr. John King and friends and family members.

Mr. Antoine Williams, as the Master of Ceremonies, started off the brief programme, officially welcoming everyone inside the gallery to view the pieces.

Mr. Rohan Payne, Environmental Officer (Biodiversity), gave a brief history of the biodiversity art exhibition and why it was important to raise awareness about the environment in different ways to reach as many persons as possible.

The MC then called upon all the artists present to the podium to be identified and congratulate them on a job well done.

The Minister then asked the artists to remain while she delivered her remarks. She applauded the artists for showcasing their work and noted that art and environmental awareness combined is a powerful force for education, advocacy and change. She also mentioned future collaborations with the cultural sector.
